She obtained a PhD in political science from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF, 2008) and has held postdoctoral fellowships at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB, 2009-2011) and Université de Montréal (UdeM, 2012-2015). She has also been an associated and visiting professor at the UPF and a visiting researcher at Stanford University. Currently, her research interests develop in the areas of political knowledge and the internet, political socialization, local political participation and the belief that voting is a duty.
